What to see!

  • Beaches: Wildwood has no shortage of beaches, and every family has their favorite. If you’re looking for a recommendation, we’d recommend heading north or south rather than going straight down.
    • If you head north, up around 7th Ave, you’ll find great little beaches with easy access to a public restroom. This area is great for small children, as the beaches are small and the restroom is more comfortable. Grab some sandwiches from Russo’s market on your way (Order ahead of time to avoid long waits).
    • If you head south into Wildwood Crest (Heather Rd.), you’ll find amazing MASSIVE LONG beaches. These beaches are great if you’re bringing a large crowd, or are looking to kick up a game of football, soccer or baseball. Be prepared to walk nearly a quarter mile from the street to the water (can be a bit of a strain on elderly or young children, however there are beach shuttles provided by the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol for the handicapped)
  • Fireworks: Wildwood has fireworks every Friday night at 10pm beginning June 29th and running throughout the summer months, weather permitting. For more information check this site. The best view will be running straight down Poplar and sitting on the beach. You can also catch a great view from the upstairs back porch or the front entrance porch stairs.
  • Rides and Water Parks: Walking straight down Poplar will take you right to Morey’s ‘Surfside Pier‘ as well as Morey’s ‘Ocean Oasis‘ waterpark (Note: The water park has cabanas for rent, which are excellent for relaxing or setting up a home base for your family. You should reserve a few weeks in advance to make sure to get a spot.). For more rides and water parks you can head down to the ‘Mariners’ or ‘Adventure’ piers a little further south on the boardwalk. Mariners has the Raging Waters waterpark.
